Eligibility
Check if Foren is right
for your business

We’re upfront about who we can work with because it saves time for everyone. Below is a clear list of the industries we support, the ones we can’t take on right now, and the ones we won’t work with under any circumstances.
These criteria are broad and not exhaustive. We review them regularly and update this page when they change, and we may still decide we can’t work with a business for reasons not listed here.
If you’re unsure, or think you might be unique, contact us.
Businesses we work with
You can open a Foren Business account if you’re a registered business in one of the markets we operate in, and your company is active and in good standing with the relevant authority in that country.
You must also hold the correct regulatory permissions for what your business does. If your product requires a licence in your market, you’ll need to hold it before we can onboard you.
We don’t work with dormant companies, shell companies, or offshore entities.
If your business is in one of these, you’re a good fit to apply:
- Import and export businesses
- Cross-border eCommerce
- Marketplaces
- Professional services with international clients
- Staffing and payroll companies
- Media and content businesses with global revenue
- NGOs and charitable organisations with international disbursements
- Logistics and freight companies
- Education institutions with international students
Businesses we can’t support
Foren Business Banking doesn’t currently work with:
- Cryptocurrency exchanges or wallet providers
- Gambling and gaming companies
- Adult content platforms
- Arms, weapons, or defence contractors
- Businesses on financial sanctions lists
- High-risk lending or payday loan providers
- Any business that doesn’t meet Foren’s AML and KYC requirements
This protects our customers and keeps us within the rules we’re regulated to follow — being FCA authorised means these lines aren’t optional, and we’d rather be clear about them from the start.
How eligibility is decided
Final eligibility is confirmed during onboarding review. Meeting the criteria above doesn’t guarantee an account, and we may ask for more detail about your business before we decide. If you’re unsure whether you qualify, contact the compliance team before applying — a two-minute conversation beats a rejected application.
